Idled for 15 minutes without heating issues to check on pressure , leaks etc. Race coming up this weekend and it needs to handle the staging lines burnouts etc without stalling or overheating. Seems to do fine now .
532" , 12,0:1 comp ratio , Edelbrock VIC Jr heads ..... POWERFUL !

  • I bought it like this and the combo works really well . Johnny Winters Ultra Bell works as an adapter. The front section of the TH400 hosing was sawed off and the converter housing is bolted to the oilpump.

  • where are you from? this looks like a galaxie that I saw during the 2011 good guys drags in seattle

  • @bad65stang Howdy ! I am in Norway. Must have been another nice '64 Gal you saw in Seattle. I purchased this one in Ohio some 10 years ago.

  • @427snakefan oh it is still an extreemly nice ride lol...what trans do you have backing all them ponies??

  • @bad65stang Its a TH400 with a J.W. UltraBell and manual valve body. Has been very reliable even tho' it a GM... :D
