A film that touches the heart. A necessary, obligatory film. But God, the trailer shows everything! Why it doesn't only suggest instead of revealing all the content?

what's so wrong with the way we live in America?

i know its not all of us, but we need to be more open-minded and more accepting and not to judge anyone. this movie is great example, the guy gets arrested but not because hes illegal, because he has a"muslim"name and is from the middle east. I know its just a movie and we never here about this stuff happenin on the news, but its very similar.arab or muslim u.s. citizens are stopped where ever they go, harassed, and judge.I love obama, but he cant change everyone,they have to change themselves.

Very well said! I work with lady who is of Syrian descent. You could not ask for a nicer, sweeter lady. She has a heart of Gold. There are co-workers in our office that have treated her some to the point will not talk to her at all after 09/11. How sad is that! According to my Bible, Christ teaches us to love one another and not to judge. Again, I agree and appreciate your comment.

Yeah Ive seen people go through things like that all the time. I am Christian and I strongly dislike how these so called "Christians" are judging people when every Christian should know only God can judge.

Thyric gets arrested because the police thinks that he is jumping the fare device. When they call downtown they notice he has an arrest warrant. He never showed up for his deportation trial. Because Mouna (His mom) threw away the deportation letter. She divulges this to Walter when Walter and her are laying down in bed. It has nothing to do with racism. It's just a case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Thyric had a deportation letter where it stated for him to leave the country

this movie was an amazing film. it truely touches those who do not know how foryunate tjey are to be citizens of america

america no son los estados unidos, america es todo un continente, somos afortunados los que no tenemos que viajar a otro pais por necesidad de mejores oportunidades, no porque vivas en los estados unidos, yo soy de mexico y aunque hay muchos problemas que resolver me siento feliz de mi historia y mis raices.
