Learn to count in Filipino. It would be easy to master the numbers if you'd just take note of the pattern that is used throughout groups of ten.

For 101- isang daan at isa (where "at" means "and"=which translates to "100 and 1"). But due to the rule of contraction, "isang daa't isa" is commonly used.

101 - isang daa't isa
102 - isang daa't dalawa

200 - dalawang daan
201 - dalawang daa't isa
202 - dalawang daa't dalawa

1,000 - isang libo
1,001 - isang libo't isa (notice the contraction)
2,000 - dalawang libo
3,000 - tatlong libo, and so on.
