Science doesn't have to disprove God. Theists have to prove God. It is their dilema, not ours.

As a former catholic, it does require quite the set of balls to actually accept that all that has been taught to you by the people you love the most is just wrong, it hurts to know that it was a lie, but then it hurts more when they keep embracing it.

Loved the whole thing. I am faced with similar debates at work all the time, weather they initiate or I do. My personal favorite is the free will vs. Omnipotent god (hope I spelled that right). As for voting on who won, there is really no room for doubt. Keep on thinking and helping the world move forward

One of your responses was that God had given us the ability to think logically about things - but is that truly the case...?
Perhaps the ability to think logically is a side-effect of eating the apple from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Before that event, we would just have been an upright critter, in the Garden, with language...
