  • It is, but it's languishing in the vault at Ralph Edwards Productions.

(Which is a shame, because it would be a hit on GSN!)

  • Yes it was. The same Jack Clark that hosted Dealer's Choice before this Game Show existed. And Dealer's Choice was also on Channel 11 KTTV-Los Angeles on Nightime as well. I missed Dealer's Choice so very much.

  • It was Jack CLARK that hosted the original Cross-Wits.

  • I'd rather see the Jack Clark version, assuming it's still around.

  • 0:24

I used to have the exact same table & chair set as a kid.

  • I rememebered The Cross Wits when it was a Night Time game Show on Channel 11 KTTV-Los Angeles with Jack Narz as the Game Show Host.

Each Contestant had 2 Celebrties(1 Man and 1 Woman) on his/her team. First the Celebrity would be asked to solve the word. If that Celebrity failed to solve the word, the Contestant would have a chance to solve it. If not, that team lost it's turn.

This was back in the Late 70's when it was on.

  • David Sparks was also a male prize model on Sale of the Century with Jim Perry at the same time as Cross Wits.

  • I like the original Crosswits MUCH better.

  • I used to watch this on Channel 50 here in Gary almost every single day with my mom, along with the $100,000 Pyramid, Card Sharks, and a game show, I think a dating game show, probably a lot of people forgot was even on the air, Matchmakers. I wish GSN would air this show

  • I remember this show from back in the day on the family channel.
