Nintendo Wii & Sony Playstation 3 hooked up to my Acer H233H 1080p LCD

For those of you who thought it's impossible, here it is! The VDigi Electronics VD-W2 Wii VGA cable hooked up to my Acer H233H 23" 1080p LCD monitor outputting Wii's maximum 480p.

Got a question for you man, I have the exact same monitor and i'm about to get a PS3, would I just need an HDMI cable for it to connect? And how about sound?

@SmokinBluntzzz Yup, use the HDMI cable. Sound will come out of the monitor speakers which aren't that bad, to tell you the truth...

If you have this exact monitor, you don't need the VDigi cable (it's for the Wii only). All you need is one HDMI cable since it does both video and audio. Good luck!

I too have the Acer H233H and for the Xbox 360 it was great. I have a PS3 now, and the games at 720p look absolutely horrible. Believe me, I am picky when it comes to graphics, and it looks very bad. I think all who own a PS3 should get an HDTV instead of a PC monitor. I think the only reason my Xbox 360 looked so good on the PC monitor is because, well, it's Microsoft after all.

i have a new LED-LCD without composite input, so i got this VD-W2 cable...setup like instructions say....but i get a HORRIBLE green tint.. My netflix channel looks green instead of the normal red logo. Any help?

Some cant afford a high end tv, so they stick with the monitor, saves on money till u save up for a real tv.

Hey dude i got the exact same monitor when i play my games on my 23'' they look horrible at 1280x720p but it dosent upscale do you have the same problem?

@nougatfisk Yup! I have the monitor connected straight through HDMI, and the RCA red/white connected to an adapter for my logitech z-2300 speakers. Pretty badass!
