This snare is my own design....i used other traps to come up with this one.....I call it the restraint snare trap because it holds the animal in place while still giving pressure to kill it quicker. don't forget to comment and subscribe.

  • you gata make evrything so freakin complicated

  • no, i could just make a shitty snare and show you but i doubt people want to watch some bull shit!

  • this one sucks i did eveything the same and the animal got away cause the noose got caught on the bait stick

  • well if you watch my video again, it worked every time. You have to test it multiple times before you get it the way you wanted. I never had a problem with the bait stick, just the lag of the snare.....it was to slow at first.

  • i need new survival ideas soaking cotton in alcohal works too

  • Well i think your homemade hand warmer is a good idea....

  • Great video, second time around worked well!

If you've put any of these applications to work via a book, you might share it with us. The book title. I'm thinking, The Trapper's Bible.

    Much appreciated

  • there are many tipes of traps...this one is very good, depending the type of game you are looking to trap. 5/5 stars and good job.

  • Thank you for your constructive criticism but I'd have to say drilling a hole with a knife took 3 minutes. I think if an animal is to heavy it could escape the snare with ease plus i rather have one good snare then ten bad ones. But the whole experience was worth my time.

  • Looks like a fun trap. That said, I think you can improve it more. Simplicity is key to a good trap design. It's better to make many simple traps than to spend an entire day making one. Finding a way to avoid needing to drill a hole through a stick would be a good start.

Another thought I have, is that holding an animal to the ground is not as effective as lifting it into the air. Were an animal caught only by a leg, it could easily chew the rope on the ground. It would be more difficult in air
