Here we have the fabulous 101-key Mortier Scale Concert Organ "De Arend" ("The Eagle") playing Teddy Bears Picnic. This book being a little lacking in registration, for this video I was putting in the registers manually (not easy as theres 12 of them!) to make things more interesting, hence the glockenspiel solos! The instrument is presently in here my workshop while I add on a midi playing system before the organ goes to its new home in Ireland.

  • I was considering doing a teddy bear picnic video and was wondering if you would allow me to use the music from this clip in it. I'll understand if you decline, of course.

  • Thanks for asking; no problem at all, I'll send you an email now.

  • You have a very nice concert organ. It is well voiced and easy to listen to. It is probably the best mechanical organs I'ver ever heard! I commend you for all the hard work you put into it..

  • lovely carved facade and the sound from this organ is fantastic!

  • Nice organ, Have seen it just after it's birth, at Heesbeen's in Tilburg
