This video will show how you can store games, demos, music, videos, and more on flash drives, external hard drives, or any other USB drives over 1 GB on the Xbox 360.

It should be noted that the maximum size the Xbox will utilize is 16GB. Even if you have a 500GB Hard Drive, the Xbox will only use 16GB.

  • ***UPDATE***

You CAN save up to 500gb! Just select customize instead of "Configure Now" and make it 500gb

Thumbs up so people can see this!

  • Will you be able to play regular xbox games using the USB stick instead of having a hard drive?

  • I dont know why you all are getting med that it got deleted...first of all, he said it himself in the video. second of all, if you guys just read the message on the xbox 360, it clearly says it will delete all your files.

  • Once you have the game on the USB drive can you upload onto the Xbox's hard drive? For example, I'm getting an Xbox Elite and I want to switch my game progress from my old Xbox onto it without taking out my first Xbox's hard drive.
