  • I loved this video because the recipe not only looks mouthwatering he explained why recipes tell you to add cold water. I always figured adding hot water made it come to a boil quicker so it was better but I'd rather add the cold water and have more flavor than trying to rush the process. Good tip!

  • @FM897 - Also, he was in a hurry and couldn't take the time to let it thicken on the stove. I'm sure if he (or we) let it simmer a few more minutes, it would thicken to the way we like it.

  • @gulshabbo No, it isn't because it's essentially TWO recipes in one: a stock AND a gravy recipe. You can also make a big batch of stock way ahead of time and keep it on hand in the freezer, or use a good store-bought stock. Either way, it beats the hell out of powdered gravy in a paper bag any day!

  • @yellowbird500 It's all about preference, but gravy thickens as it cools, so it's okay if it starts off a little on the thin side. That being said, it's easier to thin out a gravy than thicken it later.

  • Love your channel! You look amazing! What you do is really fantastic! Let's stay in touch. Check me out sometimes too!

  • @animaladam5 You make a good point.

  • This recipe is too complicated.

  • @yellowbird500 ok but u can just add more butter and flower and it will be as thick as you want...he happens to like his gravy not so thick..wat he does is the more legit way to do thanksgiving.

  • Looks more like a soup.

  • do u throw away the turkey legs afta its liquid is used?

  • Tyler always sounds like he's got a cold. I guess he tapes this show very early. Love this guys technique. He's awesome.
