Judy Denmark (Bernadette Peters) sings "Angel Mom" to daughter, Tina Denmark (Kathryn Zaremba) in a staged reading of "Ruthless!" The Musical at the Canon Theater in Beverly HIlls in a benefit performance to raise money for the 1995 AIDS Ride L.A.

The stutter is a play on the moment in GYPSY when Mamma Rose stutters during ROSE'S TURN. I do have a recording of the entire performance but it is not available to the public. I will post some more clips in the near future.

It has been done by all gals playing Judy Denmark (it's actualy written into the script) as the 'stutter bit' something Roz Russell does in the film of "Gypsy."

Thanks for sharing these! They're great. If you don't mind me asking, how did you get this recording? It was clearly professionally shot but I've looking and it doesn't seem like it was ever for sale... maybe my google skills are lacking though.
