  • SnooPING AS usual I see!

  • There really should be something that lifts art into the consciousness of people and makes it possible for voices with such talent to live equitably. You are privileged to have been able to work with him. I can't make any great pronouncements about him being the best at this or that but I can say I think he was sincere and the genuine article. Objectively, for his influence on other musicians he should be better represented. Subjectively, he was one you had to go to to 'rock with the best!'.

  • John gave too much to music to meet the end he did. Great musician.

    Deserves a lot more recognition.

  • Remembering Long John Baldry today: Jan.12, 1941 - July 21, 2005

  • Check out It aint easy produced by Elton john & Rod Stewart this is John how he should be remembered . Used to see him every sunday at Eel Pie Island with Rod Stewart and sometimes Elton.Last Gig was at Landmark Trust Teddington where met him with his friend of old Liz Gill from RCA days . This was not far from Eel Pie Island.Once my Swedish friend Gunnel got on the stage at Dingwalls Dance Hall and presented him with a melon . He exclaimed "Get off the stage woman!!" A real character.
