Book Review: "The Lore of the Land"(stories of English Folklore & legends)

A Bible of English folklore and legends that mustn't be forgotten. It even writes about the hauntings of Bluebell Hill. It is a book you can 'dip into'. It hasn't captured all our legends and lore, in fact, it has completely missed out West Kent, whatabout our famous skirmishes at Solefields in Sevenoaks and the Skirmish along the Hilden Brook in Hildenborough.. maybe they didn't bother to contact local tourists associations. It was good, but not complete enough. I give it 8/10. I think it is important for people to know about these legends but it would be better in several volumes as the books is very heavy and hard to walk round with.
