when my darling daughter was born, she was diagnosed with a serious heart condition within hours...she was transferred to Dublin and as I followed the ambulance up the road in my car on my own, with tears streaming from my eyes, this song came on the radio...hard to describe the feeling of love and calm that came over me on that journey as I thought of her in the ambulance... She is doing well now...the angels are watching over her, keeping her safe...What a beautiful song.. Thanks to all

My brother Gerry sang this beautiful song and my aunt's funeral on 11th of Feb 2011. Thanks to the Waterboys for wonderful lyrics and to Gerry for his wonderful voice. Bernie we will never forget you, you were a wonderful Aunt!
