  • A somewhat lame request, but can you please provide the name of the song? Had a pretty promising intro. Unfortunately Wind Up Records' video channel didn't have anything similar listed.

  • Hello, Good day, the song name is Killin' Me by Drowning Pool.

    Best regards from Oceanwindrider

  • Did it sink?

  • No, it had been salvaged, click on video response for continuing story Brgds Oceanwindrider

  • Weather dependant lashing ???

  • Good day,

Vessel had been abandonned, because no more main engine/propulsion and hurricane force 12 expected. Assume that during the storm vessel was very heavily rolling and taking water in tanks through airvents, and no more crew on board to rectify

  • My captain told me not so long ago that a roro ship floats best when it has turned over. Time to give things a bit of thought.

  • This ship sail now under canadian flag under the name Camilla Desgagnés for the nordik operation on nunavut and nunavik...She had major fire on engine room on 2003...I sail there as deck cadet...this ship is cursed...lol

  • So, how do you go about getting a ship like that into port with out putting more sailors in danger?

  • M/S Camilla , Still sails today ;)

  • My god, where did you that that music......

  • Found a folder about this incident from the archives in my workplace. Pretty interesting to read how they tried to fix the engines and, after it was deemed impossible in those conditions, made preparations to abandon the vessel by closing all watertight doors, hatches etc., emptying ballast water tanks, leaving notes for whoever might find the ship, eating lunch (pea soup as it was Thursday) and finally turning off all shipboard systems, auxiliary engines etc. before being winched off.

  • I used to load newsprint on this vessel out of the Stephenville Newfoundland port. Her lower deck was very low but the twin deck was super high. I can she why she would roll on the ocean easily.

  • Thats awesome, great video, simple and plain, cant believe it hasn't sank yet!

  • This ship crossed the north west passage last year amazingly....

  • Seaman..... Hahaha.... Funny ?

  • hahaha you said seaman!

  • yep , brood op de plank!
