The Petersen Automotive Museum takes the Steve McQueen 1957 Jaguar XKSS to Pebble Beach for the XKSS reunion. Twelve of the original 16 XKSS' were in attendance. The McQueen car is unique because of its custom upholstery by Tony Nancy, and the glovebox door made by Von Dutch. Both of these modifications were done during McQueen's ownership. It is also the only XKSS with polished wheels.

    steve for ever! peter/europe

  • Save yourself some money and the inclination to be a pompous ass. Find or have Lynx Jaguar build you an aluminum bodied XKSS. Thoroughly tweaked suspension to suit your driving needs, a more messaged engine and more HP; It's everything the XKSS could have been with a little more evolution.

  • 12? I didn't know there were that many left. Certainly an impressive convoy.

  • @alexQw33 It's going to have to be a powerball win. I hear they go for 1.5 million. But McQueen's, aka "the Green Rat," is worth as much as $3 million.

  • A true work of art, the XKSS is the one in the cat family I crave the most.

How much would Steve McQueen XKSS will be worth now??

Note so self: win the lottery soon, buy XKSS.

    LOL
