If he'd learnt to change down properly this might not have happened...! Motorcycles have a 'Constant mesh' gearbox, you're not supposed to pull in the bloody clutch and stomp on the gear lever like a loon, there is a procedure to follow which when mastered, is done in a split second, listen to Ago or Hailwood coming into a corner,they knew how to do it, 90% of riders today can't change down properly..?
