Sarah Palin markets new pregnancy test that even a fundamentalist Christian can use. Bill Maher is fabulous!

  • Bill Clinton was able to keep his daughter's legs and his marriage together.

  • About time somebody poked fun at a woman whose hillbilly values may end up setting back progress for women in the United States by decades! Hurray for back alley abortions, shotgun weddings, and government devoted to controlling women's wombs! (shudder)

  • Bwahahahaha! I'd like to post a comment, but I'm incoherent from laughing!

  • @kclymer1 *high five*

  • @annefrancegoldwater so true. they just don't understand how important planned pregnancy is.

  • Let me rephrase your question. If you're walking home at night and you saw 12 men approaching. Would you be more comforted if you knew they came from a prayer meeting? How about if you were in Gaza? I would rather they came from a bar. Then I know they won't try and covert me with violence.

  • you know its not a 50/50 propostion. If there is a "god", there are thousands of relgions and you can't be 100% certain that you're right. So you'd better get busy converting to all the worlds relgions just to be safe.

  • Yes and Adolf Hitler was a christian. So I guess all Christians are Jew hating murderers? Your logic is bullshit. Show me a person that did evil BECAUSE they're atheists (not just because they're sociopaths like Mao and Stalin). Now show me a person that did evil because they're religious. I can think of 12, the september 11th hijakers.

  • 98% of the prison population are religious.

  • Even if that statistic isn't true, 80% of the american population follows some form of religion. So you mean to tell me that 20% or less of the entire population is responsible for the majority of crimes?

  • The point being that all religious and supernatural beliefs are all based on the same desire for people to explain what they don't understand. Karl Marx did get one thing right in calling religion "The opiate of the masses". Gods are a primitive idea that require incredible leaps of logic and reason. The price for peace of mind is the abandonment of logic and reasonable discourse. To think that an adult (you) have just gleefully condemned me to hell says it all.

  • You're talking about Pascal's Wager. A meaningless proposal. You need to consider that there are tens of thousands of gods to choose from, many of them considerably older than the one you choose to worship. All those other gods seem ridiculous to you because you stand outside of their circle as I stand outside of yours. You however have much more in common with them than I do.

  • It's not that it takes intelligence to "pretend" there isn't a god(s). You are no different than a man who sacrifices a goat to appease Apollo. It's ALL nonsense.
