スマートホーンと始めのデコメサービスであり、将来は、ツイッターやブログまでも使えるようになります。

Decomarket is a smartphone/android application that will eventually allow users to download their favorite emoticons and use them in applications such as twitter, blogs, etc etc.

Japanese really like custom emoticons, so it's a pretty big service, in the near future, you will be able download certain emoticons based on certain themes, etc, and you can add links to them, so that clicking an emoticon will link you to another website or blog or whatever. I don't really understand it, I haven't been able to download it for my ipod--as my iTunes account is registered in Canada ;P

Anyway if you have ever seen the Softbank White Family commercials, this series follows a very similar style. A strange family that strives to deliver the news of DecoMarket to the world through a variety of weird situations that have nothing to do with emoticons, yet they somehow manage to tie it in at the end with some sort of sales pitch.

If you are interested in Japanese comedy, there are a few really good epsiodes up there, so have a look. If you want to see more, subscribe to the channel.

Check out the ;DecoMarket channel and follow the story from Episode One!

I'm in episodes 15, 16, and 17 :)

  • that looked like so much fun!!!(^-^)

  • @mygirlhiro I TOLD YOU it wasn't porn! :P

  • Congratz on getting the job or the arubaito.

  • @Vdevagau Its neither! It was just a one-day thing I did in February.. The "work" is over. :)

  • @LeClassics well of course I am trying to bring people to watch the videos, but that doesn't change the fact that I went there and had that opportunity. Its not a sponsored video, they aren't paying me to post this, but making a behind the scenes video is way better than just sitting there telling you to go watch it... IMO. Of course I want people to know about it.. Besides the fact that they are advertisements, some of the episodes are really funny.

  • nyaha super cute "it's such a high pitch!" XD why auto tune it btw? you sound great :3

  • @mo99 You just laugh it off^-^. They don't mean any harm by saying it. Suppose it was your first time meeting someone from a completely different country, you'd be really excited! Plus if you look at it their way it's more like everyone is part of the group so being a foreigner is extra-ordinary.

  • 1:01 'This is the first time I've been friends with a foriegner.' I always laugh it off and try to disregard that question when I get it but sometimes I just feel like saying 'Why does it matter if I'm a foriegner or not'? =/ How do you respond it?
