Dude, I think u got it the other way around. the 4k to6k maintenance tuning is for force induction engine, especially the turbo charged. the ITB require a lot less maintenance in relative to force induction, n should be about the same as stock. plus the excessive noise is caused by lack of the filtered air box, which is almost required to prevent damage to engine.

: agree about the selling the sound system, all-motor ITB'd cars sound way meaner than the whoosh of a turbo, even if they aren't as fast. (although, a screamer pipe on a rotary is just about the scariest thing i've ever heard)

all of that for 30-40 whp plus tune every season not worth it, 4k to 6k for the ITB's? dude turbo or super charge all the way, but if that's your thing then its all good might wanna sell your sound system or your radio cuz your not going to need it the sound of your engine is music to your ear...!!!!!

It's not that much with just itb's, u need a really good tune to get more than 30-40hp out of just itb's, its worth it tho if u plan on investing alot in ur motor, I love my ap1 with itb :) :)

Wow tuning is the ONLY way to gain anything from itb's especially on a S2000, with an extensive tune u MIGHT get 45-50hp out of it, and it costs 4-6k just for the itb, that's not including the tune

why dont you ask some honda tech guys, on why theyre cars get better gas mileage with their stock airboxes than their aftermarket intakes
