The Needle and the Damage Done performed by Neil Young who was a headline act at the 2009 Glastonbury festival. The song was written prior to the drug related deaths of Crazy Horse frontman Danny Whitten, and roadie Bruce Berry.

  • @kimv020887 hey man dont lie... there are some good bands and artists out here, but you just gotta search a little. for example Radical Face, they are really good, and Years (listen the song dont let the blind go deaf). also edward sharpe is very good. there is alot of good folk stuff out there, just search. also the psychedelic stuff like Dead Meadow is seriously good. these are bands that dont do it for the money but for the music, but i admit that there are less good bands. SEARCH N' ENJOY!!!

  • Neil Young will put all the CRAPPY talent nowadays, I mean I only listen to 70s/80s/90s and early 00s (2000-2003) music and I hate and despise today's music. Bieber and those no talent idiots can't hold a candle to LEGENDS like Neil Young, Neil Diamond, Eric Clapton, Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, etc. ANYONE AGREE?

  • ugly, old, and bloody incredible. Neil Young is an absolute legend!

  • GOD DAMN THE PUSHER MAN. THOUGH HE AI'NT NO MAN. HE'S A WHORE LIKE HIS MOMMA!!!

  • Heavens sake-HE DIDNT !!

  • oh my god. this is one of the best performances I've ever heard.

  • @JRMuff Why? Because when I heard the news this was the first song I thought of? I hope to God you never have to watch someone you care about throw away a life, a talent, a gift because they can't overcome their demons

  • @FloatingGum Ohhh fuck you

  • RIP Amy Winehouse....
