  • Instead of cream of tartar could you use baking powder? Great vid!

  • @rainbowpie101 Thanks :) No, you can't use baking powder instead. Baking powder is a raising agent while cream of tartar is a preserving agent. It's one of the things that stops it going off without refrigeration.

  • Is there a way to make it white? And, also I had this play-dough-ish stuff and I made figures and charms and then let them dry. Then they went hard and not crumbly and they worked really well . So I was wondering if you can do this with this sort of play-dough. Please reply. I am 11 years old and have NOTHING to do on the holidays! :O

  • @EpicHamsters For dough that dries well check out videos on making salt dough. That's the type of dough that you're after.

  • can you bake your play dough and make clay sculptures?

  • @thepartytimes I suppose so but you'd be better off looking for instructions on making "salt dough" as that is supposed to be baked or dried :)
