4th of July Fireworks Show and Boston Pops (2010) -part 1

Happy 4th of July everyone!! This is the amazing Boston fireworks show with the Boston Pops playing along. Best show put on in Boston that I've seen yet.

I had an amazing view after searching forever for a decent spot. I was sitting up on a wall right on Storrow Dr. where I was overlooking the thousands of people that attended this spectacular show.

It looks like you were closer to the shell than I was. If you look at a map, find Dartsmouth St. and follow the street direction all the way to the Chales River Basin. I was around that area.

@Elli21486 yeah I walked down darthmouth to get to storrow, then went to the left and through the hole in the fence to the grass. but then jumped back over it, and went off by myself. I was probably about where exeter st or further was, sitting on the wall across storrow from the river.

You had a GREAT view! Thank you for sharing and taking the time to video! I took some video but mine is not near as good as yours! This was my first time to Boston and the first time I'd ever seen a firework show like this. It was AMAZING!

@RobertRogersAtlanta Yeah I was definitely very happy that I found this spot, I was searching for a while too, and finally right before they started I got the best view I could. Was awesome show too.

This was so amazing. We crammed ourselves onto the Esplanade for a good view and ended up right next to the water. Everyone singing the songs and cheering... this is one of those things everyone has to experience to really appreciate. Nice vid!!

@Naralien Yeah, I was wandering all over trying to find somewhere on the grass, but that wasn't happening haha. So many people. I was thrilled with the spot I finally found. Great show, and definitely an experience you MUST have at least once in life. Well worth it. I don't think I've ever seen so many people in one area like this.

i Cant wait For this Years Pops i'm making sure i get there early last year i had to get through so many people to get right under the fireworks and it was an amazing view

how can you not love that movie? actually my boyfriend sent me this video the other day... he works at dreamworks and all the VFX animators were apparently sending this video around the office cause of the HTTYD song haha

@Shramir hahaa I thought the same thing. My older sister was also thinking the same thing. She was actually the only one to come up with the name of the song and what movie it was from. And when she did........ well..... lets just say she loves HTTYD. :) lol

@jredwilli lol, I did the exact opposite. I walked down exeter, took a left to go over the foot bridge past fairfield st, then continued straight on the path until I found myself across from dartsmouth.
