AGR - Cross of Venus DS Game Guide and Review - Introduction and Basic Gameplay

This is the first part of a special 3 parter review. In this special edition of Actar's Game Reviews, I shall be taking a look at the much talked about DS game Cross of Venus.

In this first part, I shall be introducing the game and talking about the basics such as menus and controls. I shall be covering the Dengeki Card Battle System and the Hub Menus in the second part and the Arcade Style Battles in the final part, together with a conclusion.

I really hope that, by doing this review, you will be able to learn how the game works and not be turned off by the fact that it is completely in Japanese.

Previously, I really tried to film the review in one ten-minute block, but there was so much to talk about that I didn't feel like leaving out any of the details. What I wanted to do was to create a guide esque video. I could do a walkthrough, though that would be taking us away from the whole 'review' tagline.

Ooh! Don't worry! I made this review to help you understand the gameplay and story. Though the story mainly revolves around going to the various novel worlds and correcting details.

If you are a fan of the various series, there should be no problems! :)

It came out on March 2009, aka five months ago, so it's a very recent game. Saying this as I still remember vividly the days when I ordered, and picked up my own Premium Pack at an anime & game shop in Tokyo. :)

Lemme just point out that you are amazing for creating this video^^ Most Dengeki fans would love to get their hands on this and play it, but have trouble due to it not being translated!
