Nuno Bettencourt - Gravity (Cover - AUDIO ONLY)

2000 - This song was chosen (with the help of Bully) for a project in my 2nd year of college. It was nominated for the End of the Year Awards Ceremony for Best Engineering. I am very proud of it and owe credit to Dustin, my partner for the project, who was the Producer and Assistant Engineer. He also did a couple of rhythm guitar tracks. I did the rest (singing/harmonies, rhythm and lead guitars, bass). I also did some of the producing and engineering. The drum loop was taken from the original song.

The sound quality on the recording itself is crystal clear, but recording it from my speakers onto a digital camera made it sound distorted and certainly does not do the cover justice. Until I find a better way to record it without distortion, this will just have to do.

I had the awesome privilege of meeting the handsome Nuno AND all of Extreme in Michigan this month and some of the shots in the slideshow are from that very show. They are all super friendly dudes.

Of course, in the slideshow you view, there are random shots of Nuno in all of his bands and there are also pictures of myself playing rockin' out on my strat (taken by Anna). Hope you enjoy it!
