I can't figure out how to use it, it does not have any built-in help or tutorial...I have no prior experience with editing video, and there is no HELP whatsoever...

i used intelli studio and it worked

but at one point i would plug my camera into the computer and intelli studio wont pop up anymore

This is a silly waste of time....Trial and error....that's how you use Intelli Studio

intelli is great...

but everytime i plug my camera in, and it pops up, a window comes up and says there's a problem. so i press 'cancel' or 'okay' and it closes intelli.
