Hey Stephen,
Great idea to incorporate the flexability of being able to remove the sheets if you don't need them. Why don't you try a pull cord, like on window blinds. This way you can keep them up out of the way and then just lower them when needed. The sheets really improve the accoustics of your room :) Take care
