Devil's advocate here- there is a difference between churches and any reality of God or Gods. There is a difference between a document being incorrect and an interpretation of a document being incorrect. As humans we tend to get trapped by semantics. Maggots could be referred to as demons in the Bible. Not to mention, if taken seriously, the Bible itself is a human interpretation of the "divine" message. Most scientific definitions, and human discoveries occurred after the Bible.
He didn't say the laws have been falsified, you dumb ass, he said that those laws don't apply in any way to biological evolution, and he gave his reasons why.
And Louis Pasteur falsified the biblical claim that disease was caused by demons. He had the same types of backlash for his work that Copernicus and Darwin had, but his work their work has eventually been proven correct, and so will Darwin's.
The Theory of Evolution doesn't address either the 1rst or 2nd law of thermodynamics.
Again, the Law of Biogenesis only applies to complex life forms, and it only takes a little reading of Pasteur's work to realize this.
"Snails" are not a species. Even though there are several different definitions of species, by almost any definition, speciation has been observed multiple times. Most certainly by the most common definition, speciation occurs naturally.
