An album track from Blackjack's "Worlds Apart" (1980), written by lead singer Michael Bolotin and guitarist Bruce Kulick, although the original pressing of the album gives Bolotin sole songwriting credit.

Other than the annoying "mise-en-scène" at the beginning of the song, it's a pretty good heavy shuffle rock tune, with stellar vocals by a singer who would release a couple more albums and soon gain fortune in a different style as Michael Bolton.

Sorry about the "Love Me Tonight" promo photo - it's hard to find many Blackjack performance photos.

  • I'm a metalhead and not so secret Bolton fan. I just became aware of this. It's equal parts Journey and Boston! I feel like someone just poured a big jug of sex all over me!

  • @FreakyWolfman4 Best. Comment. Ever. Have you listened to the rest of the album? It's amazing.

  • for the first 3 seconds I thought it was an orgy!! Bolton before he went shitters

  • The two songs I like from Blackjack are Heart Of Stone and Counting On You. This song rocks too.

Like Richard Marx and Peter Cetera, Michael wanted to rock the place, but the money was in the ballads.

  • alfa rock days in Puerto Rico in the 80's good times sooopla Bairoa!

  • What can I say but that I really like this song. It should have been on the radio back in the day somewhere after a Bad Company song or something and after a good old Kiss song. I wouldn't even mention Peter Cetera or any weak crappy Top 40 music of those days. I can't stand ballads for the most part, they killed the 80's rock. .... This is straight up, good ol' rock n' roll!
