1999 Dyson DC04 Absolute+ purple and lime

My Dyson DC04 in action. After 13 years the only replaced part was the clutch (blame some idiotic builders who vacuumed up bricks with it) it still cleans well seals could do with replacing and the airways need a clean, but it still works perfect and seems to have loads of life left in it. I'm not entirely sure what date it was made but since the serial number begins with '996' I presume it means it was made in 1996.

i found out :D your dc01 was made in 1995 and dc04 made in 1999 my dc08 made in 15th march 2005

Oh, DC01 serial number is 840-A-254846 DC04 is 962-A-106444 I'm always worried about direct fan cleaners I don't trust them as much as Dyson's also Dyson's have tougher brushes so the deep clean better, and I love the onboard tools on Dyson's and the HEPA filtration as I suffer from hay fever.
