Pastrana and Edstrom threw the stage because they were on a flat and on bad tires for the snow (he took ice tires instead i believe) and they were loosing so they fuggin threw the stage cause they were in a bad spot and blamed it on a guy riding a sled who was far from the road

BINGO! and you know how much of a soar looser pastrana is. Granted he is a pretty cool and chill guy, his co driver was the annoying one actually. He was pretty relaxed about it all. then he hit a deer (or that was the following year)

Thats a bunch of crap. Pastrana had the flat before he even saw the sleds. And for the record Edstrom told Pastrana "stop here, those guys can't be doing that, we're throwing a red cross", as the sleds were running parallel to him.

It all boils down to respecting the race. Don't just watch it from where ever you feel like it, it's dangerous for you and for the drivers. Use the designated spectator zones. I've been a race marshal for sno*drift for 3 years and I've run in to a lot of A-holes that don't like to abide by the rules. It really dose ruin it for everyone else.

The A-holes were the Subaru photography team that told some random snowmobiler to ride parallel with pastrana when he came in to that section.
