The owl - as a symbol - is one bird that brings exceptionally strong and wise energy. These birds of the night have long been associated with wisdom, knowledge, stealth and strength. To the ancient Greeks, the owl was a symbol of Athena, the goddess of wisdom, heroic strength and reason. In Hinduism, the owl is associated with Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, wisdom and courage. Many Native American tribes include the owl in their tribal legends and recognize the knowledge and strength the owl has to offer. In Shamanic rituals the owl not only brings wisdom, but also assists with clairvoyance and astral travel.
