@calvotheking While I agree with you for the most part, I wouldn't say Japan is to biased, I cannot recall many fights in japan where I thought the judges were unfair. But saying that I agree mostly asia is terrible for dodgy decisions, chris john vs marquez comes most clearly to mind as well as a couple of Thai fights...
@autsataewtaisong Sorry but in all oriental countrys, the judges are very localist, mainly in tailand, where only you win for Ko.many mexican boxers have been stolen in fights, all oriental countrys.I say the truth.it's very hard to win in orient,(Japan,Korean,Philipines and Thailand,)
To all oriental boxers, (korean, japan, philipine, thailand,) when an stranger boxer fight in yours countrys, from signing the contract, the fight is lost, ¿Why?the judges are very localist, all the people shouting any stroke, only for Ko you win.it's more en Tailand, where stolen fights.
@randyds5 I actually read he broke his jaw in the first. The guy is a warrior but he gets involved in shootouts too easy the last thing you want to do against guys who can punch like Montiel and Jhonny
@FSMNoodlyAppendage IDK. Hasegawa actually had a broken jaw after that flurry and had to be rushed to the hospital after the match. Good thing the match didnt continue. I like Hozumi. I hope he returns strong
The ref had every right to stop it. Hasegawa got hit with probably a dozen punches without doing anything to protect himself at all. That's a definite TKO. But it was with less than a second left in the round, the ref could just as easily have let it slide. Hasegawa came to pretty quickly, and 60 seconds would have been plenty to recover. He definitely could have kept going. And the fight would have been AWESOME.

Good stoppage, unfortunate finish.
