  • That's not a Fairouz song.

  • I have the recording of the song by Fairouz. But it's a very old song from the 50's composed by Halim El Roumi.

  • @Halfaouine do you have the recording uploaded? thanks, i love this song so much.

  • beautiful voice!

  • What a lovely voice!!! Really beautiful.

  • @Irtidad because no ones like fayrouz

  • i have been looking for something like this, don't compare her to Fairuz, she's different in a good way, and i appreciate her "uncommercial" classical approach to the middle eastern music that had been polluted so much lately!

  • It's a real shame that she hasn't become more popular, because her voice is really fantastic. Her voice is reminiscent of Fairuz, and so if people really love Fairuz so much why haven't they payed much attention to Ghada Shbeir?

  • wow! what a beautiful song but can anyone tell me what does the words in this song ya hamam mean? I have heard it in context of saying goodbye to someone like "ma aasalam ya hammam? " my arabic is still learning! thanks ...D

  • actually her first song with Assi Rahbani, Ghouroub, dates back to 1949.
