  • @1kmUnderwater The TP53 gene is expressed by a tumor suppressor protein called p53. It regulates cell division and makes sure cells won't divide to fast forming a tumor. When the TP53 gene is damaged, the protein p53 can't do its work anymore so tumor suppression is severely reduced and a tumor can form.

  • could you please tell me what the "inactive p53" and "tumor suppressor" meant?

  • @Trenty2468. Cancer tumors become self sustaining through angiogenesis (the growth of new blood vessels from pre-existing vessels). This is done through VEGEF- which actually stimulates capillaries to form into a tissue.

  • Excellent animation but without the audio narration it only gets half way to the goal of educating.

  • OMG o_o SO POOR THING

  • cant cancer separate another way.... ouch?

  • @Trenty2468 Why do capillary type blood vessels seem to grow over and around the cancer cell growth? because a growth factor is released by the cancer cells that produces the formation of new capillaries that feeds the cancer cells .

  • Chuck Norris never gets cancer. He simply snaps his fingers to keep them away
