The first part of an untransmitted pilot for an intended puppet series, created by Roberta Leigh of "Space Patrol" fame. The voice of the lead character is provided by Ed Bishop, who also voiced Captain Blue in "Captain Scarlet And The Mysterons" and who played Commander Straker in "U.F.O.".

  • Fantastic. His sidekick sounds more like a robot than the robots do!

  • @ivorbigunzz Doubt it, since this was made in 1964, the same years that "Stingray" was already airing.

  • @zoomeristen On the Space Patrol DVD, yes. But that DVD is out of production so it's really pricey. I spent $100 to get my copy... It was definitely worth the cost.

  • Is this available on DVD ?????

  • Wonderful colour - the robots really are the stars though

  • This is epic :D

  • So this is where Gerry got the idea of Stingray from.

  • Shamelessly formulaic and i could only imagine the toy sales following release of this show.

  • I can hear the Supercar themetune in this.

  • Paul Starr looks like Tony Blackburn.
