I lived in Dublin from 2002-2003...I can't believe I left (damn ex-girlfriends). To this day, when I say I'm homesick, it's not for where I grew up, it's for Dublin.

I was in Ireland for a week ten years ago and I still miss the moist scent in the air and those gorgeous green hills. I dream of the day I will return.

@Shosha1313 Not at all. It gets worse once you've been. I've been twice and when I get back to the US, my heart aches for Ireland all over again . =(

@crazedscotsman553 Why, aren't you nice! Thank you, and I wish the same for you. By the way, happy holidays, since it is nearly Thanksgiving and Christmas! :-)

@Multi80schick Yeah... Damn strait. I love Gaelic Storm, always will. They just, have it all figured out don't they. I like a lot of music, but you know, i really enjoy music with real meaning, and of course a subject we can all relate to. They are amazing. And thank you for your input. I hope you have wonderful days to come my friend. Keep smiling!
Is it possible to be homesick for someplace you've never been?

Everyone admires other cultures, Chinese, Japanese, Italian etc, but only Ireland makes people want to BE from said culture.
