1972 300sel 6.3 with restricitive rear muffler deleted. Sounds far too crackly and loud but had to street test its effectiveness for chuckles.

  • And if you hate this video, youtube "300sel 6.3 smokeshow". You will shit yourself :)

  • Wow, I must really learn to check these replies more often. Highly amusing. Haters gonna hate. Oh, and for the replies below implying that we are Americans, have a look where the steering wheel is and listen to us talking. We are Aussies you muppets. You would also do well to read the video description that implies the exhaust was temporary and has been replaced with a mandrel bent twin 2.5" system that sounds glorious. Please keep telling me how stupid I am, jealousy has never been so amusing

  • I can't see the reason behind not being allowed to drive a vintage car harder. Judging this owner, he seems to be doing a good job in keeping it clean. So why not have fun with it? I personally do not understand the "collectors" mentality, where people buy old or expensive cars and lock them up in a garage. Those people are destroying the engine bearings and the suspension as well as the tires. Letting a car sit reflects a lazy owner. To all the collectors out there: "Go & enjoy them oldies" ;-)

  • Wish my 4.5 was that fast lol

  • @carreracaballo Second that!

  • I'd much rather see an old, unmuffled Mercedes like this laying rubber as it passes me on my East German moped than being driven by some schnook who only takes it out on sunny Sundays, like a deprived kid with overprotective parents. It's a car folks, they're built to be driven, preferably daily. If you can afford it in the first place, then you can afford to rebuild the differential. Keep 'em rollin'!

  • @roblox84 Hehehe . . . ;-)

  • @carreracaballo But you'd understand if you saw who these collectors were. They are mostly a bunch of ugly old douchebag men in their midlife crisis.

  • Typical yank twats, no wonder the world hates them.

  • how did these people get this fine car?? Well, of course you need brains and a bit of intelligence to respect fine machinery, these people do not have the one and the other, a real sad story, hope that someone would save this fine car before those dumbasses ruin it completely!!!!

  • NOTE: All the tire marks too and from this guy's driveway. I want to be his neighbor.
