I won't pretend like I completely understood Terrance Malick's' "The Tree of Life", but I will say that it certainly is an experience. It is complex and imaginative, abstractly beautiful and melancholic; The Tree of Life is more of a work of art than your standard film. That being said this is a film that is likely to be enjoyed most by those that can appreciate it for it's artistic nature. The easiest way to appreciate it is to simply sit back and take in the surreal splendor of the film.

@pingguo2 Oh, you're gonna be shocked to see how many people sat through The Artist, an old silent 4:3 movie, that is pretty much gonna win Best Picture. If you look up the word BULLSHIT in the dictionary, a picture of The Artist should show up.

Obviously this movie is totally ambiguous and could mean anything to any number of people, however to me, it made me question my place in this world, what I should achieve and how I may impact other peoples lives. It made me me think about how I should choose to live my life, and should I decide to have children, and how to teach my children the correct way of life. This is one hell of a thought provoking film. A masterpiece.
