This is the original Master of a classic tune done for Sun-Records, Memphis. Although Yelvington was under contract at Sun -for reasons unknown- this swinging HQ-tune never has been released by Sun, at the time when recorded. The seemingly frustrated Yelvington went on to Meteor-Records(Memphis), which released an inferiorly done contemporary re-make under the pseudonym "Mac & Jake" (see YT).
The Sun-master first came out on this Sun-Charly (UK) 10" record, available thruout the 1980ies.

Clinton, I knew your grand-dad when I worked in Sun, back in the '90's. Wonderful, wonderful man. I miss him.

I am so surprised to find this. My dad was Gordon Mashburn, the lead guitarist on the record and also co-writer of the song. Those are his guitar licks you hear on there.

I found Malcoms music at Wal-Mart of all places! I was very pleasantly suprised.

Is that an imported 10 inch LP?

Si no es mala pregunta, ¿Esta encajado el disco en el eje central, o esta símplemente posado sobre el plato?, despues de esta pregunta, bonita cancion.
