No, its about sticking this bullshit illegality to the man. you cant just "legalize" something with the drop of a hat. Especially when you have dumbasses in office. We need more smokers to speak thier minds and inform people about the truth. and no, its very difficult to change a federal law.
Every one knows whats going on. Its all about $ $ $. So again thats why they dont want to change federal law. Its just as easy to change federal law as it was to put the law in to place so there for the people saying they are helping you change laws are doing nothing to really change laws. THE END...
because things don't end all at once, they just don't. if you take it 1 step at a time and a vast majority of the states "legalize" it then the supreme court, congress, senate would then realize that they may have made a mistake BANNING it.
banning something is fairly easy once you brainwash the majority. turning it around is a huge problem because in order to do so you have to be involved with in some way the illegal substance.
im a houstonian/smoker, and i agree 100% with NORML. just think about it, alcohol was against the law but people complained and basicaly made the gov change the law, if they could do it then we have enough people to change the way everyone looks at weed and the effects of it. if everyone does there part weed may be legalized in the USA before you know it. Smoke on everyone!
Are you serious? there is no way you would be able to start a reformation of the drug laws at a federal level. the money that the govt spends on keeping marijuana illegal is way more than a non-profit organiztion like norml could ever come up with. the state level is a smart place to start changing the laws, crawl before you walk so to speak. and i dont know what to say about your smug paycheck statement. what else does not-for-profit mean? just try and do a little research next time.

Yeah, next time you go to one of NORML meatings ask them why dont they change some federal laws and not state laws if they really want to decrim it.
So until they do that tell them to stop exploiting the world just so they can get a pay check.
