  • @FourDeuce01 Oh hush up you brat :p LOL

  • @DreamsOfCottages

"it was the Romans who called them "Christians" and it was an insult."

It's STILL an insult for anybody with a working brain. ;)

  • @influxrift Sorry but one more thing: "...but his son's job was to form a new church..."

Jesus's job was first and to do the will of the Father which was to lead a blameless life, give people hope of a future and lead them to a relationship with God. Nowhere in the Bible does God mention to Jesus that he should form a religion or a church. The early church fathers didn't call themselves anything in regards to a religion, it was the Romans who called them "Christians" and it was an insult.

  • @influxrift cont....by valuing the tool over the savior you are committing blasphemy. Religion points to Jesus NOT the other way around.

Give credit where credit is due.

Get off your high horse and quit proving Pastor Mark right in comments like this. Don't be the self righteous pharisee. If you aren't pointing to Jesus or doing the will of the Father then you should be silent.

  • @influxrift You know how you know to believe the Bible? One thing.

If it points to Jesus. That is scriptural. Apparently its you that should read your bible.

Are you seriously comparing a committee of believers as a separate "religion"? LOL. Mark is making the distinction between hyprocrites, the self righteous type pharisees who value legalism and the types of believers who submit to the will of the Father. The only reason there is religion is to be a tool to come to Jesus.

  • @anusagi The "religion" he is talking about is legalism and self righteousness. Not doing the will of the Father. He makes that distinction throughout the video. I think you are being defensive because you feel convicted....and if Im wrong, work on your comprehension skills. God bless.

  • @anusagi

"of course we have 2 do things!!!"

Some of you don't have 2 think, obviously.

  • of course we have 2 do things!!! people polluted religion but it doesn't mean religion is wrong! jesus died 4 us 2 save us from sin & the second death, so we'd have a chance 2 get 2 heaven when he comes back! we are not supposed 2 sit around and just believe, we have 2 do things too! if u love god, then obey him by doing what he says in the bible! he loves us regardless, that's right but we can only be forgiven if we ask 4 it & forgive others too! we have 2 work 4 our salvation not 4 his love!

  • Religion says "Believe or Die".

  • @influxrift

    "Maybe Driscoll should too."

First he should read the dictionary. He could start by looking up words like religion, honesty, integrity and hypocrite.
