James Gurley (original lead guitar player for "Janis Joplin" BBHC) and Mitch Master together ! Mitch Master playing lead guitar on James Gurley CD "St James- Pipe Dreams" song "The Fire of Love" written by James Gurley, recorded in 1996.
Mitch McKendry aka "Mitch Master" was the lead guitarist & best friends with "The Father of Psychedelic Guitar" James Gurley for 29 years (after the Janis Joplin years). They were in the band "Red Robin & The Worms" (1981-84) also involved in several other projects including Mitch McKendry playing lead guitar on James Gurley CD "St James Pipe Dreams"
Red Robin & The Worms were: Robin Reed Vocals - Mitch Master Mckendry on Lead Guitar - James Gurley on Bass - Jim Holt on Sax & Hongo Gurley now Adam Riesman drums.
Mitch Master released his solo album "How About You" in 2006. The title track song "How About You" was on Neil Young's Top 10 Picks list on "Living with War Today" for over a year and #1 over 14 times. Mitch McKendry born in Hollywood California, has played all over the world, he is currently living in Thailand. I Love traveling to Thailand, I have visited Thailand many times and have visited Chiang Mai, Koh Samui, Phuket, Ao Nang, Krabi, Tonsai Bay - Phi Phi Don, Pattaya and Bangkok.

Say, if James' friends have a lot of his guitar experiment tapes a you tube channel would be a great place to honor him and share his explorations ( that wouldn't be appreciated by the industry but would be cherished by fans )
