The voice is from the video game Diablo released some years ago. Music overplayed on the voice was worked on by the artist known as "Dagnit Bard of Justice". Images overlay ed onto the music were sourced from www.deviantart.com, Diablo II fan sites, and Dungeons and Dragons fan sites and body art images you can order from any tatoo artist. All images used under fair use, for the purpose of political and scientific speech. The copyrights belong to the owners. I tried to order the images to emphasize what the voice was saying. Hope you enjoy yourself.

Synopses

Human beings always love a good story. However stories come in 3 varieties. True stories, stories for entertainment with no real persons or events, and lies passed off as truth. Stories of heaven and hell started as being told as a lie to gain the obedience of illiterate peoples. In time even the laity of most churches became too educated to believe in hell as it was originally portrayed. Theologians scrambling for cover and backpedaling by saying these stories were not to be taken literally. Finally in most technologically advanced countries the idea of angels and demons has simply become a plot device applied on computer graphics or movie screens to entertain. No need to spend time identifying good and evil via a lengthy plot.

Heaven and hell first started as a lie to frighten the under-educated into obedience, became a poetic story that retained some influence among those who place feelings above evidence. Finally with a large audience that sees the world from a start point of reason and evidence, heaven and hell, is finally seen as the wild tall tale, it always was from the very beginning.

In the middle ages the folks at Blizzard software would have been burned to the stake for tempting to alter the biblical story of heaven and hell to suit the purpose of pure entertainment. If they had tried a similar thing even 70 years ago religious groups would have successfully reamed them in the court of public opinion for their lack of reverence for religious un-truth. Its a great sign of progress today, that myths which helped facilitate war, famine, and the deaths of many an educated person, are now relegated to simple stories for board games (like Dungeons and Dragons) and computer games like Diablo.

Perhaps progress will reach a point where the entire human race sees these stories for what they are.... merely fun. Instead of what a power hungry elite wants people to believe in order to frighten and control.
