I dont think she was transgendered because I know plenty of women just like her that have very sharp facial structures with extremely toned figures - making her look a bit manly. Her story is sad.

@pilotjagoan sounds like you should do a Wikipedia search on Black Box. Everybody knows that the real vocalist is Martha Wash of the Weather Girls. Albeit, this song was released in the late 80's/early 90's, a time when it was common to release music videos using models to lip-synch another woman's vocals
