MACS DO CRASH! It is called kernel panic. It shows the power button and sais: "You should restart your computer. Hold down the power button for 5 seconds, release it and the press it again once."

It shows this in 6-10 languages

When the kernel panic appears, you can't really do anything, like a windows crash.

@MrRunescape20101 Mac can get viruses, just not as much as Windows. Also, you get viruses if you are stupid and download everything on the Internet. What was that about the games? Windows has no problem running those games and it can actually run more games than that.

omg all know that mac can't get viruses and many games like CALL OF DUTY 2 OR COUNTER STRIKE 1.6 OR HITMAN BLOODMONEYY AND MANY MORE so mac is much better than windows! so epic win for mac and epic fail for windows! :/ :D

Also Wikipedia is not a safe source of information as anyone can edit it.

For instance I can go through a proxy and change all info on Wikipedia to say nothing but "Bla" over and over, and no one would of known it was me.

OS X may have been built off of Unix but it only contains a few features from Unix. Not enough to even make it comparable to Unix.

XNU is what apple came up with when they fused Darwin and Unix together I believe.

@MisterMacintosh1 No OS X uses the XNU kernel, which is a microkernel, while windows uses a monolithic kernel.

microkernel = only has the features programmed by the dev

monolithic kernel = tries to include all functions by default, and new functions can be installed as needed.

There are approximately two billion Computers in the world.

6% of that is Mac’s, So that means about 120,000,000 Mac users.

2% of that is Linux/Free BSD, Then there are about 40,000,000 Linux/Free BSD users.

So that just leaves the 92% or the 1,840,000,000 Windows users.

You can rant and rave about how your Mac is equal to a super computer, but in the end about 1,720,000,000 more people prefer Windows over Mac.
