first time i saw this movie, i actually thought the other mother was just some dream and a kind woman who Coraline would be with till she was too old. kinda like Timmy Turner losing his Godparents when he was too old for them.
then she was all "buttons in your eyes" and i was like "oh hell nah"

@PurpleMysticDew I guess part of the Other Mother/ Beldam's undoing was when she made all the people in the Other world, she made them a little TOO accurate to real life. Thus, Other Father and Other Wybie both cared for Coraline as much as their real life counterparts did, and thus felt the need to help save her.
