  • very nice fish shame about the comentry, what was the weight it seemed to me to be about 8lb 10oz and the only disapointment was not to see it returned to the water other than that 8/10 hope to see more soon for 2010 season..........

  • Looks lovely there buddy. I lost a double at the net on the nene yesterday. Didn't sleep well at all last night! Nice fish, nicely done.

  • @SpeciAngler It's called bob's island and it's off mill gate in newark. It's a cracking venue with every swim looking totally different to the last and the barbel go up to 15lb, well worth giving a go plus it's only 5 dabs a day so you can't go wrong reallly.

  • @onlywhenpissed i always rest the barbel when returning it if required, i've hundreds and hundreds barbel and can judge weather or not a rest is required, and always use unhooking mats on hard ground, this venue has soft ground and long grass so it's not to much of an issuse but thanks for your concern
