So you can go on the internet on your i touch as long as there wifi available?

Yes. Safari, iTunes, the App Store, the YouTube app and aything else that may use the internet will work just as you would expect when connected to a wifi connection. Also, it is not called the iTouch, it is the iPod Touch

@chazybrewster Yes! I also hate when people call the iPod Touch, iTouch! It is not an iTouch, like iPad, iPod, iPhone, iMac. This product name is NOT iTouch! It's an iPod. And this model of iPod is called Touch!

YES, I hate it when people say iTouch. I always tell people it's called an iPod Touch, not an iTouch.
