Friends..I am an Indian bye I dont understand one thing. Why we make fun of people not able to speak english ? Do we make fun of Brett Lee when he is not able to speak hindi in true accent in our commercials ? When a gora speaks hindi , we just feel proud of our language that a gora is speaking it. Come on English is just another language, just like 5 fingers of hand we cant say which one is best. So All Languages are equal. Unity prevails :)

@musicmaniacsr That's because most of the smartest people in India and Pakistan know to speak English. Knowing to speak English well correlates with intelligence and high achievement USUALLY. I also used to think the same way. Why is Tamil not more prevalent. After years of searching for the answer I found that Indian languages don't have much purpose even in International dialogue or even technology where the preferred language is English.
